Robert Jackson is Professor of English at the University of Tulsa, where he is also affiliated with programs in film studies and African American studies. He is the author of Fade In, Crossroads: A History of the Southern Cinema (2017), as well as articles and reviews in such publications as the Journal of American History, Modern Fiction Studies, Mississippi Quarterly, the Southern Literary Journal, Twentieth-Century Literature, and the Virginia Quarterly Review.
